Lyclear Crème Rinse is formulated with permethrin for the effective elimination of head lice and eggs within 10 minutes. To prevent reinfestation, a repeat treatment is necessary. Adults and children aged 6 months or more can use this product, which is available in single or double packs of 59 ml bottles and comes with a fine-toothed comb to remove lice and eggs post-treatment.
Lyclear Creme Rinse 1% Cut Solution Twinpack is typically enough to cover one person with shoulder-length, average-thickness hair; however, thicker/longer hair may require additional product. Rarely is a second bottle needed. If lice are still present after 7-10 days of permethrin treatment, the process should be repeated. In the event that lice are still alive after 14-20 days, consult a physician for other treatment options.
It is necessary to inspect all family members for head lice if one individual requires treatment, however, only those found to be infested should be given therapy.
