Introducing Canesten Clotrimazole 1% Cream, a highly effective treatment for fungal skin infections. This cream is specially formulated to combat ringworm, athlete's foot, fungal nappy rash, and fungal sweat rash.
The key ingredient in Canesten Cream is clotrimazole, a powerful antifungal agent that targets the root cause of fungal skin infections.
Directions for use:
- Pierce the tube seal before use by inverting the cap over the end of the tube and pressing.
- If treating foot infections, ensure that the feet are thoroughly washed and dried, paying special attention to the areas between the toes, before applying the cream.
- Apply Canesten Cream thinly and evenly to the affected areas two or three times daily, gently rubbing it in.
- A strip of cream measuring 1/2 cm in length is sufficient to treat an area approximately the size of the hand.
- The duration of treatment varies depending on the type of infection. Generally, a minimum of two weeks is required, although it may take up to four weeks for complete resolution.
- If you have athlete's foot, it may be beneficial to use an antifungal dusting powder in conjunction with the cream. Consult your doctor or pharmacist for recommendations.
While symptoms such as itching or soreness should improve within a few days of treatment, redness and scaling may take longer to disappear. If symptoms persist, it is advisable to consult your doctor.
